We’re excited to bring back our annual celebration of flight – Aviation Day!

This free, fun and family-friendly event features demonstrations from the Aims Aviation Program, games and activities for the entire family.  

The Aims Aviation team has aircraft on display for the public to view. Attendees can also experience the Aims mobile aviation lab, which includes virtual reality flight simulators, air traffic control simulation, and drone simulators. There will also be STEM-related activities, Drone demonstrations, opportunities to fly drones, kid activities and more. Vendors, airline recruiters, and the industry's leading technology companies will also be on-site.  

Aims Aviation Day offers flights between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Airplane rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All money Aims collects from the flights fund scholarships for future Aims aviation students.  Flights are on now sold out. 

New this year is live music and a beer garden. The Burroughs will provide live music in the afternoon, playing their brand of “sweaty soul music,” an invitation for audiences to dance, celebrate, and connect under a unifying and infectious groove. These features are available from 2:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Food trucks will be at the event with snacks and refreshments.
