Teaching the Holocaust can prove challenging in the best of times. In recent months, even familiar topics and texts have been fraught with landmines. How can teachers make the best choices, from among the seemingly limitless content, for their students and their teaching situation?

In this workshop, educators from Colorado Holocaust Educators (CHE) will share how to teach the Holocaust so that students—and teachers—can move safely into and out of this difficult—but increasingly necessary—topic. Professional hours will be awarded.
