Girls will be introduced to aviation through a variety of activities, like building and flying EZ Jets, touring airplanes, participating in an ATC simulator, and visiting static displays. There are also free discovery flights in our Piper Archer airplanes for the first 25 girls who sign up. All family members and friends are welcome and don't need to RSVP.  Girls between the ages of three and seventeen can sign up, participants ten and under need a parent or guardian with them in the airplane. Girls in Aviation Day registration begins for this event on Aug. 1. 

This is event will be held at the same day, time, and location as Aims Aviation Day. We are working with organizers of that event to incorporate our activities. Aims Aviation Day is responsible for the discovery flights. Women in Aviation will be organizing an EZ Jet activity, air traffic control simulator, hang glider display and homemade photo booth.
