The use of emergency food resources around the world has been increasing for a century. The environmental and societal forces that contribute to hunger in the 21st Century require new responses to reduce the need for emergency food resources. Industry, government, and community leaders have critical roles in developing new approaches to hunger and the need for emergency food resources.
