Join us for a N.A.P. on Tuesday, March 10, from 5-8 p.m. in the Learning Commons on the 2nd floor of the Student Commons.  Get your studying done before spring break during our Night Against Procrastination with extra support from Learning Commons staff and free pizza to fuel your work (while supplies last). 

Avoid procrastination and accomplish your study goals!  Join a community of fellow students to help keep you motivated to get your work done.

Extended drop-in tutoring hours available!  Want some coaching on your writing, strategies for managing test anxiety, or some later tutoring hours?  

  • Math tutors and writing coaches available for drop-ins from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Science drop-in tutoring available in physics, biology, anatomy, and chemistry from 4-8 p.m.
  • Mini-workshop on reducing test anxiety from 4:30-5 p.m.
  • Study skills help from an academic coach
  • Bring a friend or your study group and work on your assignments with tutors walking around and answering questions

Need research assistance?  Librarians can help with:

  • Finding articles for research papers
  • Identifying scholarly resources
  • Navigating databases

Is tech giving you the midterm blues?  Use a computer in the Learning Commons lab or work with Learning Resource Technicians who can help you:

  • Utilize features in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
  • Troubleshoot issues with Aims computers
  • Basic program assistance and training for computer applications

Struggling with online learning? Our Bilingual Online Learning Specialist can work with you on:

  • Understanding online instructions
