Each semester, the FTLC hosts a New Faculty Orientation that welcomes the new cohort of faculty members. During this time, we introduce faculty to Aims Community College as a Learning College, where we emphasize the Learner-Centered Philosophy and Inclusive Pedagogy. We also introduce faculty to the student population using the latest institutional statistical data and connect them with various instructor and student support services throughout the college. Opportunities for continued growth are also presented.

Please mark your calendar for the Fall 2025 New Faculty Orientation that will be held on August 14 and 15, 2025. This two-day event helps lay the foundation for the academic year and build connections with colleagues around the campus. *Breakfast and lunch are provided for BOTH days.
