About this Event
5121 W. 20th Street, Greeley, CO 80634
#aimsccJoin the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) for a week in action that draws attention to the importance of accessibility and self-advocacy. Whether it is in the classroom, on campus, or within our communities, we all play a role in breaking down barriers and ensuring equitable access for everyone. This event is not just about learning - it is about taking action and making a positive difference; this is why self-advocacy is equally important for all of us to understand. Expect insightful presentations and engaging discussions to learn what self-advocacy means, and how to apply it in your own life. Self-advocacy begins by understanding your true self, enabling you to express your needs and wants, ask questions, and seek out resources.
